An electronic work for a structure that no longer exists but whose shadow is cast long over the surviving buildings erected for the Festival of Britain in 1951. Constructed for the Festival, The Skylon was a 'vertical feature' that appeared to hover over the Southbank, reaching into space and beckoning in an exciting future.
