TRACK TITLE: PARABUTEO UNICINCTUS
The track “Parabuteo Unicinctus” tries to evoke the majestic architecture of the building but also has a melancholic and nostalgic feel to it. In April 2010 my mother died of cancer and I also associate St Pancras station with times sitting there waiting to go and visit her when she was ill. I have one memory that’s all too vivid of sitting there waiting to visit her on what I pretty much knew would be her last day.”

As Kelpe says, “The building is one that rivals the most impressive buildings in London, but is also a location I have a sentimental association with. St Pancras station is the connecting station between London where I have lived for the last 12 years and the town where I grew up, Loughborough.
The first time I visited London without my parents was a memorable day. We came on the train and I remember walking out the station, excited to be in London and looking up behind me and seeing what an incredible building that I'd just walked out of. Its such a grand and stately building that looks more like a palace.
